Fire the cinematographer. Bradford Young should never work again, until he takes a lighting class at the community college. When a movie is described as dark, one assumes the narrative not the actual film frames. I kept taking off my glasses thinking my photo gray had activated.
Every source of natural light was back lit and washed out the faces of the actors. Even if in B&W the contrast would have been better.
Star Wars are supposed to visually stunning. The acting is stilted, the stories juvenile, but all the films look great. Until Solo. Was the desire to make everyone experience Glaucoma? Please Disney, color time this drek or give me an option setting to increase the gamma in the game.
