Air Doctrine

When the history of the air force was lectured to me at OTS, they knew that the targets in WWII were all wrong. The doctrine concentrated on manufacturing. The most damage was done, when bombs hit electrical transformers, refiners and railroad marshaling yards. All tactical targets, which are very hard to hit with high alt. bombers. Easy today w/ cruise missile. Yet in our limited war mindset, we don't attack infrastructure. One of the problems w/ Nam was there was nothing to bomb, Kosovo too.

Enough near politics. Get out the figures and prove me wrong.
