Alternate Motive, Perhaps

Sometimes these games are a way to teach kids. I tried a PC game where you experienced a set of still images and wrote thoughts on the experience. I wrote a marooned battle born short, while playing. It was sold as very sy-fy exploration, but never truly was. You could read what others had written, but who really has the time. Needed (and may have had) a weighting system for best reads. But then how does that even get started, assuming ten thousand essays to filter. Yet regardless, the authors wanted to encourage younger players to write. A noble goal perhaps best left in the Victorian Age like this Jane Austin game.
