In many ways being able to spend points is a form of leveling, like GURPS.
Didn't see an advancement system in Cyberpunk or Boothill. Yet money does also become advancement.
I enjoyed the computer version of Vampire. Can't say I'd want to play the game in a group. Too personal and too weirdo in the wrong way. People might associate your character's behavior with dark secrets you actually hold. The fabric between pretend and truth is too thin. But the Vampire rpg computer games were a scary blast, full of adult-themed subject matter.
