Message:It is fine to have a poor game, time to time. But I agree, if someone plays something and does not find it fun. Maybe pass on the next offering.
Introducing people to games that are fun adds credibility. They will trust you (more) next time, when you want to try something new or a bit harder to see an end.
I enjoyed Alien Fun-tiers. Winning by impossible dice can sour some opinions, but I simply would marvel at the order of such rolls. Pure strategy, no luck games are less fun and take longer with certain logicians. Pure luck, no strategy actually is hard to find in a game. Even Yatzee you must make a decisions to steer later rolls. Maybe Candy Land. But that has cards.
Magic Tourney? Jees, get a copy of PIT as a threat.
