I heard this song a couple times on the radio when it came out. Thought it was truly cool. Never seemingly again. So much so I wondered if I had a delusion. Just maybe the final chorus of voice as an ear worm.
Then one day in late nineties I found it on a Compilation collection of 1980s one hit wonders. Like finding the grail.
Fragments of other songs I heard once and then never again have haunted me. Another from when I was a kid:

Could swear I heard-yelled annoyingly as a kid, "Lay Down, lay down," something something, from AM radio. Only later with internet found it was a real song, hippie anthem that makes no sense. Still cool.
Life is too short to hear everything. See everything. Still I'd rather hear it all than see. AI is writing music now, top of the charts. I can't wait to hear (or prompt design) stuff I might enjoy.
"Google, give me a song in the style of Midnight Oil, Peter Schilling and Melani with ironic lyrics related to nuclear winter. Title it Fear Freeze.
Soon, baby, soon.
Yours,
IronRed
