Since I missed Sunday, I decided to play a game vs. 3 computer opponents in normal difficulty.

I made a lovely agrarian society that was dedicated to learning. Then the horse archers arrived. I tried gathering my villagers and running, but they me down. I tried building a new town center, but the computer was having none of that. Anytime a villager appeared, he was quickly cut down. Towers didn't stand a chance against the Roman catapults.

Never even made it to the iron age. In response to Conan, "I was crushed by the enemy, driven before them in shame and women were not even able to lament my demise."

I look forward to Sunday. Maybe I can chop wood for someone.
