Message:Players will already have duplicates when they hit the same event twice. e.g., Roll of a six branching from Magical Mishap. By writing the events too generic, they would seem flat. A bit of detail in the mix adds to the play. There is a story, though some will ask, "How would my Druid-Halfling use his treebark grow spell in here?" I smile. I can imagine myself in this solo play as being moderated. I feel an invisible hand of Mad Man Morgan pushing me toward the gyrosever. The events need to have a familiar vagueness.
Duplication is a missed opportunity. There is some duplication in Cutlass--The men start to falter and need to be rallied. Lordly roll of eight is narrative on many Knaves. I regret that decision, even when at the time the whole seemed insurmountable; I welcomed any shortcut I could find that made logical sense. Every battle has a rally event. Yet if I wrote them today, I would add specificity to the land or sea, horsed or gunned, defending the walls, seeing the gun at the temple of the company friar.
Solo Fantasy goes well; I am optimistic and have a deadline. Will be a hell of a job to code to bring online. TAG, YOU'RE IT!
Yours,
