The wizard Arkutu was devious but defeated. We battled cannibals in the swamps. We crossed a log bridge and a ravine guarded by river giants. We entered an underworld; there battled Hra, Qol, Mrur, Marashyalu Whimperers and the servant priest Oblong only to find out that Arkutu was a phantom, an image created by a demonic foe, the Enigma of Ksarul.
Kudos to Rusty for devising a method of Tony making each enemy weak and he then could slay them before suffering harm. Kind of worked in that everyone was vicious by the end and seven minion losses as Soak-off. Yet we all survived. Mike finished off a line of undead rushing our rear. Good to see his dice return. Even the Priest of Hnalla turned-out to be a shapeshifter and a trap. A ton of gold, literally, was recovered as the Enigma was banished. The Hra will forever seek Tony’s Jagetl hiLazhato, who also leaves with the Kizhaga Dlittlumri: The Book of Five Fingers, bestowing Magic Swagger upon the holder.
Well done by all.
