Message:Dork Star was being warped by four Stygians: King, Kong, Kung, Fu. We needed to wake them from their dreams. But first the Command, Matrix and Engineering sections of the base had to be controlled.
That done, we fought off the change of the base into a Mech Godzilla. How was any of this happening? Funky Powers! We only suffered a single vicious and made it out without too much trouble. Be nice if Mega Kilo could make a roll, but some things you take for granted. Inganeer named the final Stygian Fu to release us from psychosis. The Gyro Sever and Spider Syringes turned back into regular servant androids.
Next System Boötis...
The rebels are a colony world within a poli-nary star system. They recently fled a disastrous civil war in the homeland. After that they decided by elective committee to not make the mistakes of the past and separate from the Tetra-League. We are the isolationists and refugees; our Earth was destroyed by nuclear enriched asteroids. High Immune Density; High Resistance (-2 DefMod).
The Rock we call Home
The system star had not enough light to power modern colonies, so smaller compact stars were created using transformed dark matter. There are an unknown number of Egg-stars in the system, barely visible from a distance against the background stars of the Milky Way. The scientist with the key to morphing typically non-reactive Dark Matter and creating these light sources was under contract with the Worm Hole Cartel. He is now a Taint. Worm Hole Cartel abhors sharing secrets. Hence, the system’s A-Tech may be lost, until properly analyzed and rediscovered. Well, something for another era.
We were tasked to reunite the system fragments. Local legend suggested the system awaits the arrival of the supreme voice, a leader of the best character and brightest smile. Must return the Clooney, a man with a smile of five crowns, he who was banished into exile; he lives, though his podcasts tend to be just bootleg reruns.
The first system, Twinkle, we assaulted was Elien, a mistake we quickly escaped with Dustoff. The next three, Winkle, Sprinkle and Tinkle, went far easier. We learned the United lived on the ship, Nostromo, in the red radiation area. We deactivated two Dark Matter Nukes before learning the codes to circumvent all.
We are close to finding the Nostromo and the Clooney. Will that be enough to unite the warring factions and cause these Independents to return to the Tetra-League?
Climax concludes next week.
Yours,
IronRed
