Adventure Nine: Mists of Longitude
The finest crew has been assembled. The wisest men will be officers. The mission is clear. The first foreign powers have been found by sea. The Burmese spoke of the Mughals. The Mughals spoke of the others. The goal is to find these others and negotiate trade deals. If the nations prove to be intransigent, do no harm. Be cordial ambassadors of our faith.

The only trouble is this expedition is not French and is financed by the Italians of Naples.

Go and infiltrate that crew, seize control and conduct the same goal for the King of France. Be cautious, cagey, the finest men will not easily mutiny by mere appeals for glory and doubloons.

Set off around the world; do not fall off. Bide your time. Make allies. Become important. Travel the world and don’t fall off.
