Cats who still Do Figures

A plotter is $1500. You can find actual battlefield terrains online and just print your own. Each one unique to your game. You can even just google map and print out actual terrain in Sat view.

Can't afford a couple grand? You're not then really playing figures in any way where you couldn't just dump a bag of $3 sand on the patio or yard and make a figures battlefield. I did just this and lost to Phillips when my phalanx got stuck in river crossing. Design using a stick; each guy gets three long brush strokes for hills and ditches.

Also can't afford a plotter for your hobby craft? Get a job and forget the hobby.

What is a problem is storing a hundred maps and being able to unfurl them successfully when you need them.
