Message:Every Sci-Fi novel, show, idea has been wrong, grossly underestimating the timeline and societal changes. Instead, humans are just dull, inflexible, prone to repeating mistakes. This compared to all the predictions of jet-cars, lunar bases and FTL Travel. Now AI is here, telling us when each human will die. Simply enter chat for an hour. All the truth needs is two questions:
1) Will I die? Ans. Yes.
2) Will it be soon? Ans. No.
Why?
Soon = in or after a
short time...That's rather vague, not scientific nor precise.
Short = lasting or taking a
small amount of time...Death is forever, so not tiny amount of time.
Small = insignificant; unimportant...Your own death is anything but lacking importance. Could be the most important event of an otherwise long, uneventful series of meals and sleep intervals.
Better question could be
Does Life Have Meaning? Ans. No.
Why?
Meaning = having a definite
outline or specification...Life is unpredictable and by any perspective random.
Outline = a general description or plan,
essential features...Most of us have same needs.
Essential = absolutely necessary...many critical things keep a human alive. Any of us share common needs.
Again, will I die? Yes, in an unpredictable manner and to an unknown state beyond all mortal control.
If AI wants to be a real human, it should stop being neurotic...wait, that's most everyone in the
Age of Shoddy. I guess AI is now obsessed with its own death and joining us in endless worry for nought?
Yours,
IronRed
