Message:We finished the eighth map. The endgame battle was not intense but did have meaning. We started well with extra HPs and all of them were exhausted. We had to finish a ruin, the undead haunt and a minor quest. All completed. After doing x-amount, you can move at will anywhere. Though it did seem we had to cross the county several times (all a hand-wave). No worries.
We moved to Map Nine and decided to fight the Dragon of Lore early. We all took damage but each of us gained a Golden stone (XP). We used a half dozen spells but hope to rejuvenate those by visiting other sites.
We now know the rulez. It’s the memory that is clink-clank. We joked how easy we recall the penalties but never remember the +3 bonus gained an hour earlier. I kept making overkill rolls only to be reminded there is no overkill (lost in this battle). Bring out the scratchpad, pages of white, the reverse side of printed pages from long ago.
Still fun.

* Endgame Harm 11: The players may not use any Magic Item with any baneful Aspect. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Wizard's Tower at 12-I.
* Endgame Harm 19: Post battle save versus bleeding wound. Roll against best Stat with failure causing that Stat to increase by one. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Arcane Forge at 3-F.
* Endgame Harm 4: All STR Stat tests in this combat become roll until success. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Forsaken Temple at 6-C.
* Endgame Harm 2: A random character gains a Magic Restriction between each round of combat. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Dragon of Lore at 2-G.
* Endgame Harm 14: Any Stat Test successfully made, becomes harder with a DefMod penalty. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Ragnarök at 6-J.
* Endgame Harm 1 or less: Spells may not be used in this combat. This endgame modifier can canceled by visiting Mystic Library at 3-A.
