Message:Wall guard was found dead. Maybe he fell. His body is a mix of punctured flesh and shafts of bamboo. His weapons are blades made from splinters shived into his hands.
===Grand Procedure===
Moving about the St Jon Citystate Map creates a D4 Events. Between each set of events, learn a rumor. Some places have quests that cannot be started without Prerequisites. You can learn, get suggestions of the quests, but not begin them. Another D4 events to move to different spot.
We found Wine Sot's resident healer, John Cee.
Will pay one-hundred Sp. to party for defeating the Cult of Fire in Evil Den (3rd Depth).
Will pay ten Sp. to anyone who can enter the Bastille and bring out the Pyramid Scroll for him to study.
Pie Shoppe—Near Dough Gate. You recall fondly visiting the flour matron inside as a child, buying sweets. Now the place seems closed, unused. Overall site is named because a limited amount of flour is delivered there. Yet inspection of gate will show the whole is rusted solid. So how is the flour delivered?
We made it to Dough Gate but did not ind bread. Man needs to shoes. Below the pie shoppe we explored the Smugglers Tunnels. Finding a puzzle obstacle that we have yet to solve.

Four Gossip or Rumors
01: The stew at the Inn is rat. Someone else will comment how one was found caught in a spider web. Someone else will remark that spiders make Wine Sot unsafe at night.
02: Rather wealthy greengrocer is showing his paramour a whistle. He says something like, "not to worry, this small trinket is my ace." Would be nearly impossible to steal, since he values it so. Attacking him in such an open place would change the tenor of play so much, as to be party wipe a dozen times over, revenge on your family, offspring, sub-clan, etc. Accept the info/clue and be gone.
03: Gryphon Vapors slowly turn a thief's hand green. There does not seem to be any constables in Wine Sot but Clan Chief Solitaire does enforce his whims to maintain order.
14: In my nightmares I see a demon. I have yet to learn or decipher the palindrome of its name.
Yours,
IronRed
