I won't be sending my Pathfinder books back ....
Message:
So, there is this kerfuffle where a Paizo lackey apparently took a shot at the VP Elect who apparently said he once had a Magic The Crackening habit. In the past this would have been career limiting but we live in modern times.
The lackey instructed the VP Elect to return his Pathfinder books.
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7FJf9MvlSc) I don't recommend the video unless you have nothing better to watch. It's a bit uneven.
We're not a political site. Much better places to slag each other for such things.
Brave Political Stand
But, bravely, I WILL NOT be sending back my Pathfinder books.
Mail Costs too High
Well, to be fair, I don't actually have any. But, if I did, I wouldn't be sending them back. Yikes, have you seen the cost to mail things lately? Paizo has some talented artisans and made some interesting things over the years. Good on you. But, the game was just a copy of D&D 3.5. I think I have the Pawns but I can't be bothered to dig them out.
Look if you are going to get your underwear pulled up your backside for being a dungeon master, at least do it with the premo brand. The bullies wouldn't even know what PathFinder is?
The title of the product .... eh .... seems like a miss to me. Heck, they could have called it Torg 2 if they wanted and it would have worked. But, I digress.
But, let us not suggest this is just click bait to pile on as the Interwebz were created to facilitate.

(1) The modern executive should not bother with the Torgs, Braunsteins, Star Wars D6, or whatever version of Champions is out there now. No, the modern executive needs to be a
Cutlass Man or Woman, or Xe, Zug, Xi, Trout, or Carrot (no offense intended). What ignobles do ye lack?
(2) I think the Hillbilly is probably busy with other things with having to learn the three digit nuclear codes, state funderals, and all. Perhaps, Zen Fantasy in it's 1 page goodness is the way to go? (Funderals was originally a typo ... but ... it sort of works.)
(3) One should note, Vance did not say that he played PathFinder (as best I can tell). The dude is brave but not that brave. So, Lackey just injected himself in the conversation. In that spirit, could he please return any copies of SpaceGamer or Battle Born at his cost with no remuneration to the address listed therein. Well, not because I don't want him to enjoy the RPG goodness. It would just be a great story.
(4) The VP of the US gives the gaming industry a great shout out and we choose to shat the bed? Biden didn't actually use the words "Theater of the Mind" but ... come on ... we all know.
(5) For sale: A pair of Blue Zocchi dice rumored to have once been used by a chief executive of a top 40 major country. Not for sure but maybe. Only $7.99. Buy 2 and get free shipping.
Hey, a gamer has to eat, amirite?
(6) May you all have a rich 2025 of gamer goodness.
