Moved to a new location and did the gaming Meetup thing .....
Message:
About 20 people in a local restaurant playing about 6 games. It might have been a few more people.
The group I sat with it pulled out "
The Crew" first. More fun than I remembered.

It's a standard trick taking game with a cooperative objective, such as this player must win the 3 of Diamonds.
Each round gets a bit more difficult.
There is limited communication to prevent the alpha gaming.
It was trickier than it looked.

We then moved on to an advanced "Master Mind" style game. The owner had not played the game so it was a bit confused. I don't care for that style of game. Guess the series of words.
Made worst because the joint was noisy.
In the end, we did so so as the clues were a bit vague. It's just the style of game.
=======
Then,
it's Wonderful World came out.

I did not think I would like it and we got a hurried explanation. It wasn't bad. After 2 rounds, I started figuring it out. The young agile minds with experience beat the old treacherous mind but it was an interesting concept. There were other games I would choose over this but it was okay.
On a side note, I used a knife from the restaurant in the dark alley behind the joint to relieve the young agile mind of his wallet. I mean I did say treacherous, didn't I? (I kid. I kid.)

A good night. The audience is not the ballistics tables in the back of the military books of old but they were sharp and enthusiastic.
They really like the new shiny.
The stools hurt my ass but then I think they are supposed to do that.
Yours,
