Damn good theme. Iconic. That's and yes, 60's Batman.
Random Cartoon theme I like - 1986 Transformers the Movie. For a film made as a soulless cash grab with a mandate to kill all the discontinued toys and introduce the new toys, it's actually a pretty damn good film with a stellar voice cast, including Orson Wells (his last role), Scatman Caruthers, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle, Frank Welker, Peter Cullen, and others.
But the heavy metal take on the theme just, well... It rocks. Like, seriously, that band didn't have to rock it that hard, but the beat is pumping, the guitar solo blazes, and the vocals are pure Opera-metal. Was supposed to be the big break for the band, then the lead vocalist and drummer had a rock climbing accident. One died, the other badly hurt, and that basically finished off the band.
But, again, they didn't have to do this good a job for this project.
