Seven Wonders. Interesting Game. The owner had a pretty spiffy copy. I haven't played the game in years. It's been copied by a bunch of games. A good start.
Memory Chess played against three or four young, focused minds. I always find this type of game sort of pointless. Like playing the triangle and golf tee game in the Cracker Barrel restaurant (good comfort food). I don't get the endorphins on matching pins.
The parts were interesting if nothing else. I think I failed to give the owner a good test of his skills.
Finally, a 10 person "Secret Hitler" game. I'm not clear how this game survives in the gamer crowd but it does. It's not as good as "Avalon" but very similar. Two sides trying to accomplish their goals with secret roles.
The young lady across from me was begging to be Hitler. The irony was not lost on the group.
Fun game but not sure the payoff is worth the effort for 10 players.
A few other tables were going. Great time. Thanks to the proprietor for the space.
Yours,
