Message:I just picked Gargoyles of Nam. I had avoided getting it previously simply because playing in the Vietnam War never appealed to me. To my surprise, this is the most successful of the three demon hunters games!
The setting is much more focused than in Demon Hunters 1705 and not imaginary, like Demon Hunters 2045, so it creates a tighter framework around military action. When to use the tables just makes more sense and requires less on-the-fly interpretation. It's a great starting point for the demon hunters games.
Now, my group may or may not go for it, but that shouldn't stop me from tricking it out with some accoutrements…

I'm using the same Clue tokens as I used for Demon Hunters 2045:

A Vietnam War era Army first aid pouch to serve as a dice/token bag:

(not the exact one, but the same style)
Had a little trouble settling on a tarot deck, but ended up buying something kind of kitsch and sixties:

Now, I've just got to find a way to get a reasonably priced copy of that 1965 civil service map of Vietnam you show in the game…
Yours,
