Started with Res Arcana. Fifteen minutes in and the other two players pulled out their phones and ordered a copy for their collections.
The objective of the game is to get points but somehow we were all three distracted trying to build our "engine". I had three dragons attacking the other wizards and using the Chalice of Life to gain essences (materials).
Somewhere along the way, I think I said, perhaps we should stop building stuff and try to win. All three of us made a mad dash for points and had a spirited finish.
I need to play it about 20 more times to get it.
Someone pulled out Wilmot's Warehouse, a highly rated game on BGG.

Basically, you place shape chits in a metaphorical warehouse. Then, you try to find them. Score points.
So .... basically ... a job at Amazon if it was run by undisciplined gamers. As the wise man said, I've played it once in my life. I won't miss it if I never see it again.
A great showing and the area got a nice roar going for a while.
