Message:Go forth and purge the evil within and without. Don't forget your honing stones. Characters are survivors in the post-apocalyptic landscape. One of them is secretly a Terminator Morrow Agent (that only the Ref knows as an Enemy Infiltrator). Over the course of the play, the identity of that culprit will become known. Once the player (party) ousts the spy, the campaign concludes. Clues will be given along the way.
Clue One: The Terminator has a Tragic Past!
In truth, all the characters are corrupted by technological evil. Each was sent away from home and the familiar, because they each could not be allowed to stay among the vault dwellers. The group is dispatched into the wasteland under the pretense of establishing trade, representing what was once taken for granted -- civility.
We met along the way a series of horrific encounters, starting with Ghouls. We failed to properly identify our Frienemy. We faced horrors of Mutant Ants and flamethrowers at the roadblock. Two characters died (brought back). Two more at death’s door. But the party was saved by the near statistically impossible rolls of Wasteland Jacob.
A few tweaks of the damage rules and we are ready for week two of our journey from the Republic of California to the heart of Newtah.
