Red Slash for Emphasis

Message:

Worked with a guy who teased management whenever they would create a sign with a red slash. As in "Checkpoint CLOSED -- Slash."

So the Closed anti is Open, right? Few understood him. I did and chuckled.

No Large Bags Slash, No Water Bottles Slash, Take off Your Shoes Slash. Too many times the kids playing boss repeated the same confusion. Never could take a lesson from No Parking Signs. Simple P-Slash. Not Words there slashed. Result of litigation in court most likely.

Glad to be rid-of (survive) those work years.
