Never Cried, There

Message:

Never finished the books. Read the third one a couple times, lots of action. Read destruction of ring. Read Hobbit several times, a better tale. LotR ambles in the start, through the middle, to the finish. I am not a strong enough reader to attempt this story again.

Enjoyed the adaptation, ten or eleven hours of fun. In contrast, Hobbit was ruined by action-reaction, angst and hate-bloat.

Will be intrigued to see what AI creates when you use the prompt, "Create a narrative slide show of LotR of seven minutes length, no credits."

Only book I cried when reading was Pinocchio. Damn, that wood kid was a brat; scenes were scary. (I was seven.) Educator's Classic Library, sold a volume at a time in supermarket.
