Message:The concept that the game (mechanics or victory conditions) might change based on how the last game ended is very nice twist. Assuming, on my part, it has a many options and is well handled. Playing with same players, so they can see the evolution, would add to the fun.
Be even more interesting if the game (any game) might work in a handicap. As multiple games are played and won, lost, the game could add a balancing factor, extra cards, a starting move, the right to say no-yes, mulligan on a roll, keep one player from being Roman. Again with friends. With strangers, too likely someone would lie, take an advantage simply to crush the others.
People (in general) being less than kind.
A professional monopoly player (yes there are such) once described a test he made where he gave a friend the right to roll again three times. The professional was surprised (and lost) by the small change, how it disbalanced the game. For Monopoly the game was not written for such bonus.
