There were a few traditional "War Games" on the tables

The first session, there was a pristine copy of Gettysburg on the trade table.

But, I haven't seen any running.

This is a "board game" group. They are particular. "Family" games aren't board games. RPG's aren't board games. Magic / Pokémon is not a board game.

(There was one youngster with what looked like Mouse Trap off in the corner. I offered him my spot at Slay the Spire but he declined.)

And, the new games are so much more shiny.

That "Slay the Spire" box had the weight of a car battery.

Many of the gamers don't care for the "Co-op" games. Oddly, when they play the Co-op games, they tend to alpha game. It is what they enjoy.
