The game is in the big decks that each player / character gets.
The creatures and such are forgettable.
And the "characters" are so so as well. In the last run, I was "The Defect" which was the robot man. I don't know the video game it's based from but I would think the obvious "Robot Man" would be more obvious.
Each character plays slightly different. Robot Man got orbs that were charged and "evoked". Stabby Man got poison that he distributed. Chop Chop man got various "stances".
The appeal appears to be the ability to "upgrade" your deck. Kinda' like a video game.
A younger Sarge, Squires, Dennis, Mike, etc. would have enjoyed it.
My back doesn't like carrying a game with the weight of a cinder block.
