Message:While American companies are working on LLM robots which will perform defined tasks, things they are strictly programmed to do -- The Chinese are working on a humanoid robot which will (very soon, three years) be able to receive instructions verbally and perform any task.

Prediction at end of tape (~@ 32:30).
If true that will be truly the most important breakthrough ever for humanity? Even if it is only a 100 IQ learn-rate to perform operations, it could share its knowledge, experiences. The more it is used (commanded), the more tasks it will find routine without need for further OJT or clarifying instruction. The cost will be the only true restriction to widespread use. Larger production drives down cost?
A workforce that does not complain and will do every task? I pity da fool who doesn't see what happens next. Better get me a 1983 slide door van in black. "If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire the Robo-A-Team." Will BA or Faceman be flesh or mechanoid?
