I got one of those house vacuum robots.
it's not bad. It was an IQ test to set up and you have to be deliberate in your floor choices.
But, it vacuums 90% of the house without a problem. It would do the last 10% with a little work.
But, the model I have is not smart enough to avoid the dog poop. I don't have much dog (or people) poop in the house but I got one dog who prefers to poop on smooth surfaces at times.
Is dog trying to communicate a stomach problem? Is dog proud of his feces and perhaps saving it? It makes no sense. Dog poops outside but sometimes, the Lord moves him ... so to speak. I digress.
I'm assuming robot would process it in a bad way (as they on-line experts tell me). So, before I push the button, I eyeball the floor. No messages from the heavens. Robot may proceed.
New models avoid the poop. Progress I suppose. Oddly, robot doesn't care if robot is smeared in feces.
I miss the broom.
Yours,
