Joker was amazing. The laugh as he's being pummeled was inspired. Why do these kids feel the need to medicate so they can sleep? Stay awake and watch old TV for acting tips. I think Ledger was not so much acting as channeling the madness he truly was. They missed his presence in third movie.

Suffered from the 1990s B-Man in that they try to add too many major roles. Did it need two-face? Did third one need any other villain besides Bane? Did the first one even have a villain (worthy of Batman)? Should have been crime boss Penguin. Creepy scarecrow, oriental mystics, that's all vanity writing. Keep it basic. Batman vs DEVIL Du jour. Good guy characters are merely foils to show Batman isolation, toughness and intellect.

End with fistfight 3 min, no repeat actions. Second movie got that right and dual ship bombs.

Modern interpretations of Joker and Batman are Experimental Shakespeare. Just read the lines clearly. Keep it classic. Be great if Eastwood made a Batman movie. Not Tarantino.
