I saw it too

Was a few months ago in the movie house that I saw the last--is it?--MI with Cruise. I thought the first one he did was good up until Mr Phelps was a villain. That was just to crap all over the original. Bad play, mister Bond or whatever his name was. Jeremy, Isaac, Father John? The fact I can't recall shows my lack of enthusiasm and the franchise's limited impact on me.

Still I saw many of them, not all. Mostly gags in bits and pieces. Was Dame Judi Dench in this one? That may be the newer Bonds, I equally found forgetful. Made for younger brains (lost in Yonkers).The logic of the MI series threat was overly convoluted. It had more "Wouldn't it be cool," rewrites rather than anything truly remarkable. I liked him as Maverick or better still....

I googled this "Fictional NCO Mil policeman, wandering, owning just one set of clothes, and punching people's name?" and it said Jack Reacher. I liked Cruise in that role.

What is there to say? Cruise is great, under appreciated for his charm, won't win any awards. He will double his net worth. I guess that's a success in the Age of Shoddy.

His sci-fi is really fun. Edge of Tomorrow or Oblivion, if you haven't seen them yet.
