That show is now over a decade old. I liked many of the Star Trek movies. I liked some of the Next Gen plots with Data. The more recent offerings try too hard. That seem true of just about everything. The grand arc plots that disrupt the flow are just painful, too easy to poke holes in them.

Let every episode start and end in the same relative state. Sci-Fi is basically a travelog of what-if humanity had to deal w/ X.
