Message:We ran all twenty encounters. At this stage in the lives of our characters, we are either going 20+ Stat megalomaniac or trying to get something, anything to enhance a fresh start-over. I tried to keep count of the carnage, but I could not do so with all the laughter and poulet. I believe we had five deaths, many being a re-start after third life-loss. We also used at least two soak-off safeguards. This system is as dangerous as Costikyan’s Paranoia.
On to the climax endgame (part one):
Rifles and Horns
Usable by those who like a Gygax style of play--hold the Sungar Wall--where each person points to a target and fires. Who wouldn't? Each PC round the table begins rolling his Stats based on the results for the position: Afield. When forced into Overrun, he'd then take actions there. The enemy needs a body-count (to kill), similar to a Resistance number. Round the table each player makes an action, one of the five Stats and rolls. Most people take their best, yet Some are only possible once others are injured or overrun. Stats might also be lost by the party.
Afield (Start)
Agility (A) = Success to slay one (reduce Resistance) in melee. Fail and all lose Agility actions for rest of battle.
Eagle-Eye (B) = Success to slay one (reduce Resistance) at ranged. Fail and someone (low die) must use Overrun.
Genius (C) = Success to remove a grievous wound from another. Fail and all lose Genius actions for rest of battle. †
Raconteur (D) = Success to restore just one player's lost action. Fail and grievous. ††
Recall (E) = Success to aid and bring someone back from Overrun. Fail and grievous. †††
Overrun
Agility (A) = Success to slay one (reduce Resistance) in melee. Fail and grievous.
Eagle-Eye (B) = Success to slay one (reduce Resistance) in melee. Fail and grievous.
Genius (C) = Success to rally and return someone (high die) to Afield. Fail and grievous.
Raconteur (D) = Success to enact a plan that returns everyone to Afield. Fail and all lose Raconteur actions for rest of battle.
Recall (E) = Success to ride out and return yourself to Afield. Fail and all lose Recall actions for rest of battle.
† -- That wound must have been inflicted in this battle. The healing must be administered before the last enemy (Resistance point) is gone.
†† -- There must be a Stat lost by the party.
††† -- There must be a PC in Overrun.
A long fight could presses the action, so most will be rolling Eagle-Eyes Stat. There's grit in everyone firing by ranks, when his time comes. In horror play, the last enemy (Resistance point) must be slain from overrun.
That was just to get inside.

We explored tombs with colorful images. We also met Ammit, the crocodile eater of souls, but it was chained to the walls. One person tried to pet it and lost an arm. Another offered food and gained an item of loot (Kool Gear) off floor, littered w/ sacrifices. Like us?
Finally solving the puzzle of the olive jars to activate the panel on the pit-fall floor, we now have a second level of underworld to explore (next week).
More later hunting for the third Memory Gemstone.
Yours,
IronRed
