Running the Reformation.
Message:Are you using the Mission Generation tables to set up your sessions? As those were written decades before the Book Four Reformation rules I suspect those Mission Gen tables skew towards more exploration type missions than changing the Church.
The Reformation rules are a table of checkpoints which are more of "If Campaign does X, Table proceeds Y," than anything where players have direct agency to reform the Church. More something Campaign Event flips affect than players, unless their current mission is something which advances the Reformation via success or failure. In which case, see prior paragraph.
It's not always Percy the Gentle Confessor hosting all the religious leaders in Mainz. And that was an NPC event.
