Of course inspired by actual character play, though Battle Born was by far the most influenced by players.

A few years ago, a French player sent me a list of flaws he used in his game in Downtime and Digressions. Inspired, it twas. His name is lost to the swirl of my old mind and various HD Crash & Malware PC losses. All his were mostly of the Rod persuasion. Not a bad thing. I tend to play in the Tween frame, but glad to see Cutlass can be more mature. That author had, as I recall, about ten to a complete set of fourteen.

I added my own ideas from play and created the majors. Sent it off. Back and forth. All in email. I believe IronConrad was in the original chain. I thought the final version was in the Vox, but it wasn't. I thought the effort was lost forever for many years, until I looked in the code of an Excel program that I wrote and use for generating Personal Events. "Hey looksee, how did that get there?" After an edit, I reclaimed the list.
