Can't think of a better ending for my character, Moonbow. Someone else, nameless, takes a mission to escort a child to exile. Rather mean; we can say no above level zero? I join somewhat confused; I'll quibble. I suspected the Rex from start. Vindicated? When we get to the end the word "prison" is stated aloud. I did not sign-on to imprison a child, potential king of moonmen. I decide to stay with him. I and blind tutor--he must be magical--will live in the room of doors. In one I will find a forest, as woodsman. I can hunt, trap, train and raise the child as a son (rather pale). I will learn as well from tutor; my Gifted Trait will grow.
In the caves are wolfmen who have a bow that goes to finest archer. I am (or may be one-day) that man. I can hunt, explore, guard. When child grows, and no longer needs me, I will go get the bow of the master archers.
The tale seems mine, perfect; I claim my mysterious ending.
