I don't need another dummy telling me what to watch ....

His premise is academics do a bad job of highlighting the 5 videos that have good content.
I would argue that there aren't 5 videos in the entire bajillion of the interwebz with good content but that's another discussion.
So, they are building a tool for you to find the ones another set of corrupt people thinks are worthwhile?
I understand that 40% of the world's population doesn't have a sanitary toilet. Perhaps Big Brain could focus on that problem? Why doesn't the Academics make their own list? And, I don't know, put it on the Internet? Don't they frequent the same conferences and buy the same books?
I don't need some doofus telling me what to watch. The system is organic and good stuff rises to the top ... if you don't censor it or destroy me over a word choice. Dudes getting hit in the nutz is classic humor and deserves a billion views. It's the nature of the species.
They built a stupid system that is not secure, not resilient, and includes all the bad things in human behavior including bullying and aggression. What did they expect? Yet, somehow we survived.
Let's go back to BBS and 9900 Baud. Then, people will think twice about stealing the latest episode of BeastMaster. (That never get's old.)
Yours,
