However, the power tools and diagnostic gear are decayed beyond service. More than 150 years has transpired.

Blue Box mitre box saw looks like it has been used in the last week; a bloodstain suggests for surgery. Kirkpatrick (Zombie) was missing a hand.
The plastic fabrication tools and materials are in bad shape; possible injury for attempted use. The spot where the 3D printer should have been shows evidence that the machine was never installed.
The metal machining tools need service and reliable AC power, but they have held up well. They are weighty and that alone may have meant they were left, if the area was ever scavenged by intruders.
The acetylene torch and tanks appear operational. These had fallen over and were hidden under clutter. There are bullet holes in the eastern wall, but not enough to qualify as a firefight. There is no stains signaling a suicide or execution.
