The graphics just on the kickstarter page are glorious. Got to believe the game will be a steaming pile. The prettier the game, the more craptacular. Seems to be the rule. What was that Mayfiar Game, Underground? The one that was mercs in a waystation waiting for work. The graphics were best I've seen. The rules were a mess on top of confusion with no idea what the ref was supposed to do.
I have maps of JRRTolkien; the master got his land wrong. I may run a Hobbit inspired Destroy the Ring quest after you finish clearing Vegas. There may be interest in similar style dice and mobs. Gear important, map has route dangers. Having clean handkerchiefs and a pipe will be important. You can kill an Orc if you've eaten well the day before. Wet and tired, you're as good as dead.
I had to look it up -- Underground, that was it. I was given a copy free to review but could nto say anything but full-color! Must have cost a small fortune.
Underground won the 1993 Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Adventure. Now I know that I am an island, and other systems can go fug yourselves. Wow, best in Show 1993. Did anyone try to play this?
Underground, set in 2021, the game was an indictment of 1990's politics. Authors, remove head from own arse and look around. Your predictions were rather wrong.
