Wow, that was a bunch of letters.
Mr Berglas is famous for his Any Card, Any Number trick which some argue can only be done with a stooge in audience calling the number after the card is revealed. He says he never used one.
What was nice about the article is the video in middle there's a performance being critiqued by fellow magicians. It show Berglas at a family get-together, small club of him doing his best tricks. At the end he fans the deck memories for thirty seconds and then reads off all the cards. He can memorize a deck order in thirty. There are competitions that speed perform this, but not at his age. I believe fifty-four decks is the world record by Dave Farrow, a Canadian.
