Message:Tonight’s episode might have been called the saga of Vadim the Flayer. He arrived on our boat as a defrocked priest, a flagellant ranter that brought his own cat. He thought we needed spiritual guidance. Twice he was thought slain. Yet both times he recovered under mysterious circumstances (point of order). Poor Vadim, doomed to die, still waiting his chance to be a hero.
Wounds were taken, losses suffered and healed. Two groups of pyrates were ousted from the waters around our colony: Aruba and Jamaica. We battled African shippers, slavers come from the east. We faced off against the merchants of Curoçao, a group so deadly you need an alternate keyboard to type their name.
We did well. The Ship and company is in half-good condition. We even saw our first improvements to our colony as we are no longer Seen as an Upstart, nor J’accuse.
A new master class swimmer emerged. We also saw the handiwork of the finest pickpocket of the colonies. Touché.
Phase B, after one retrograde, on our way to burn the Dominca flagship outside of Stella Maris. Lest I forget the leviathan was sighted and defeated (too easily). It will return. I also (Ben Carson) need to stop insulting aristocratic ladies in front of their husbands. Goat-faced goodwife is better than none, I know now under sober condition. Cost me four purses in brides to escape the gallows from charge of "Disparaging the Character of a Lady of Comfort." A pyrate has no need for laws.
As always, thanks Roll20.
Yours,
IronRed
