The group found Ichika’s treasure was an un-exploded nuke. The object remains in a non-functioning fishpond in the Public Works District.
We tracked down some odd-ducks in the Club DNO gaming collective, hoping one might have hacked the Pentagon before WW3. Note, the US is gone. You’re not going to get real data from what’s left of North America. One of the members, Bobby Gross, is a former NATO Cyber Security Major. he now calls himself Bob Lu. Claims his mother, Nekhii, was a Red Chinese Spy in the Cold War. Lu immigrated during the great pardon of 2036. He’s still watched by former Chinese MMS. But the demons don’t think he’s important enough to assign robots or a deep cover android as a girlfriend.
We infiltrated Club DNO (over the glass works), rebuilt their servers for gaming and convinced Bob we were gamers by guessing his favorite TV show.
The horse doping may be a red herring. Yet we don’t know whether to work to explode the nuke or deactivate it fully. The Nakatomi Tower is involved, dragon’s home, but our intel is incomplete.
Here’s what we know and think:
Ichika found a nuke (know).
Miki is still held captive in Slaughterhouse District; she may have more insight into Ichika’s death (know).
The money from cheating the Subsidized Housing is being funneled to Public Works (know).
Skelvaross is not KGB nor a real person; he’s a phantom used by Public Works dragon as a cover (know).
Race Tracks are being doped to hurt Luxury District (know).
The dragon fixing the races is Public Works (think & know).
The new game mechanics of taking x-cards for an encounter seem to work about the same as previous Threat Number. Yet we did run a couple more Q&D than typical as the plot expanded.
Thanks, Roll20.
Yours,
IronRed
