I'm a simple dude. I like to roll some dice, hack down some giant rats in the tunnels below the corrupt city, collect a bag of silver. When Red's dude gets his guts ripped out and screams to be put out of his misery, I hesitate.
Is life so important? Do I owe loyalty to the guy who was smart enough to bring the sacks we put the coins in? Who is going to take the charge on the next foul beast? Oh well, more for me. He would understand. Maybe chain him to the wall down here and let his screams attract the other rats. It would make the exit easier.
When the games get to esoteric, I just tuck it away on the shelf.
