Doc was as good as the movie. See the lesser actors that also love the roles.

Movie was unsuccessful in reclaiming production costs and only later became cult hit. Time passes and worse ideas get elevated. Maybe best, capturing the same magic is tough.

Why no sequel; likely too expensive in terms of reuniting the cast. They all have movies in the work and when are they all free. Look at the cast they wrangled the first time. Amazing. Though Allen was universally hated, probably still.

Now all too old and too expensive and Rickman is Graeme Chapman of the cast.

The new CONCEPT is to "introduce new characters while extending the setting, similar to what Star Wars: The Force Awakens." We can all hope that that WOKE never happens.
