Either US charts only, or are only counting a "hit" as a top-10 song?
A-ha, Tom Jones, Sam Smith, Paul McCartney, Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Adele, Shirley Bassey, Sheena Easton, and Tina Turner all had top-20 hits after their Bond themes. Most had multiple top-20 hits, most had top-10 singles. Certainly not all on the US charts, but the US is only 5% of the world's population. European and Asian charts absolutely count.
Note that "Baywatch" is still the most watched TV show in history. At its peak it had 1 BILLION viewers. Popular doesn't mean it's good.
