Yea, Yea, Yea ... I know the rule ... Queen Maeve is Dead ... RIP ...
(The comments are great.)
I didn't care for "The Boys" on Prime at first. It was a bit cynical for my tastes.
But ... it definitely grew on me. There are moments that are absurd and I get a big chuckle. The whole thing is a farce of sorts. (I would assume if you had read the comic, it would make sense.)
The Homelander (of Banshee fame) is amazing. He is both heroic and loathsome. They have had a few odd steps but the internal rage is delivered perfectly.
The heroes are as you would expect except with great flaws. The normal humans are the heroes of course ... Frenchie is great character and Butcher is broken and sad at the same time. Mother's Milk is a delight.
Not for the kiddies of course.
PS: Maeve ain't dead ... yet.
