Message:Boötis: The Rock we call Home — The rebels are a colony world within a binary star system. They recently fled a disaster in the homeworld. After that they decided by elective committee to not make the mistakes of the past and separate from the Tetra-League. We are the isolationists and refugees; our Earth was destroyed by asteroids. High Immune Density; High Resistance (-2 DefMod).
Dork Star: Martian Dreams — Hard working folk arrived and began colonization. The colony persists but now has an outflow of residents and few births reported. Things work well with great luck until odd things start happening. The inhabitants experience temporal shifts that lead to neglect and accidents. Case files list entries like, "That was not there before," and "I walked that corridor numerous times w/o a tripping hazard." Bomb the place to show you have jurisdiction, then land and look around. See what's going on, before the kettle boils over. Low Immune Density; Medium Resistance (-1 DefMod).
Filo's Filament: Gort of Mars — The system was once restricted back in Era Two. The thought being the system held Ecclesiastics. That was so long ago that the quarantine was lifted, and a colony ship was dispatched in Era Seven. All seemed fine until a high number of solar flares occurred. The annuity that paid the tribute has expired and someone has to knock on the system door and discover why the tax bills stopped being paid. Low Immune Density; High Resistance (-2 DefMod).
Helium Dock: Copernicus Medical — The colony has long been a developed and prosperous society. The locals even prided themselves on their patriotism up to the end of Era Nine. Yet all contact seemed to end when the station called Quarantine, #666, the reference means nothing now as all codes were wiped and randomized for security concerns at the start of Era Ten. When the rent came due, the authorities called Battle Born to pacify the plagued planet. Which still supplies updates in a serial televised recreation of the lives and loves of the doctors trying to find a cure. The whole seems like an overreaction to Pacification. Where's our vig? Low Immune Density; Medium Resistance (-1 DefMod).
DONE DONE Iota Widdershins: Rats of the Red Planet — The former colonists gave all power of choice to a master guru and decider named AL. Like the Simon song; you know, you can call me Al. The only fair way to judge one another's inner character is impartially, without bias. The code that runs things is mad trying to invent technical mumbo jumbo and having the godlike responsibility. The AI once behaved in a rational way to educate and steer society. But then an "I" was mistaken for an "L" and AL took over. Medium Immune Density; Low Resistance (-0 DefMod).
DONE DONE Kappa Bumbershoot: Case Files Galileo — The planet was the site for numerous movies and TV programs as far back as Era Two. Most famously, Gunther Galileo, a hard drinking freelancer that'll take any job for a bucket of credits. The story ended in a cliffhanger when SHE walked into the office in her tight fitting vaccsuit and impeccable make-up. "Gunther, I need your help. There is going to be a murder. Sure babe, just like in funny pages." Nothing has been filmed on the lot since Era Eight, the Galactic War halted all productions. The defenders appear to be anti-cartel squatters and salvage folks tearing the place apart for scrap; that last group neveer accepts that MACE is real. Why here? Why now, they fire on the trooeprs suspecting Perfidy. Low Immune Density; Low Resistance (-0 DefMod).
DONE DONE Nu Lumpy: Holy Men of Mars — The station was one a university of advanced study of engineering, science and cosmology. The very origins of matter were modeled and recreated in labs. The place transformed from that knowledge into a cult of expansive monasteries with holier than thou men who seem to have real connections with elder pagan gods. All manner of dogma is peddled and seems to be debated endlessly and change hourly. Low Immune Density; Low Resistance (-0 DefMod).
Proxima Centauri: Humanity's Ark — A big ball of pain is on its way to the system, the Karfu Horde. We are doomed...doomed I tell you. Our only hope is to build a giant ark and go elsewhere, begin anew. All resources, including the Tetra-League Tribute, is being used for this purpose. MACE says the claim is bogus, not blue. The Horde is in no way arriving or scheduled to arrive in this system. It's system-wide mass hysteria. Tory Loyalists want to repatriate and have powerful allies in League, like Jack Foster and Giovani of Chic Cartel. Others are haggling and assassinating each other over who will lead the system the seed ship will target. Medium Immune Density; High Resistance (-2 DefMod).
DONE DONE Santa's Blackhole Village: Mountains of Mars — The place was intended to be a training center. Yet the locals seem almost all wiped-out by unknown circumstances. The last report comes from one of their senior archeology instructors reporting the discovery of A-Tech. But then later reporting that was a mistake. Low Immune Density; Low Resistance (-0 DefMod).
DONE DONE Supernovae Arena: The Fighting Pits of Vulcan — Many powerful mercenaries arrive here seeking rumors of an ultimate test of fighting supremacy. Klaus Mitre filmed his Thrilla in Penicilla fight here. An underground fight club circuit films bouts for a select audience. Local gun nutz are putting-up more resistance than any official governance of the place. It's balkanized now and without a governor. Medium Immune Density; Medium Resistance (-1 DefMod).
Yours,
