It reminds me of the old joke ... famous scientist announces to a group of people that the Sun will burn out in 4 billion years.

To which one observer replies "Whew, I thought you said million."

I think the only problem we have is "Counter-Earth" or "Gor" ... Orbiting the Sun 180 degrees out of phase. Hey, it's always the last place you look.
