That bothered me that a scientist would describe something so imprecisely.

What would be the difference say in the brightness of 2 suns versus a million. It would seem the distance from the Sun would be the critical brightness factor.

Now, I get something hurts like shit ... that's a real measurement ... but 10,000 Suns seems hyperbole.

Though, it might have sounded different in the mother tongue.
