Message:I stuck with the MCU movies through the end of the Thanos thing. Other than Spider-Man: No Way Home I haven't watched an MCU project since and have no desire to. (No Way Home would have been pretty good if Into the Spider-Verse hadn't done the same thing, but better.
Otherwise, yeah, I don't need to see any more DC movies, or any more pseudo-innovative takes that are still 15 years behind. The Boys has nothing other than nihilistic shitting over genre tropes. It's been done better by actual comic books - including The Boys (comic).
Also don't need to see any more Star Wars crap. I haven't enjoyed a Star Wars project since RotJ. I was 11. EpVIII was so bad I didn't bother with IX.
Ah - Thanos. Y'know, if you have a magic device that lets you kill half of everything because "resources are thin," then you have a magic device that can make more stuff for everyone. Basically they FUBARed the entire point of Thanos.
His comic origin and the comic plot they ripped off? Thanos is madly in love with the literal, anthropomorphic deity of DEATH, and she doesn't love him back. Comic Thanos killed half the universe to impress a girl, which is better than killing half the universe because you don't realize you have the ability to give the universe more resources.
Yours,
IronMike
